Free Czech company check by company ID
ARES + ISIR + VAT registry at once, no sign-up
Enter a company ID or name. Within seconds you see whether the company exists, who acts for it, whether it is insolvent and whether it is an unreliable VAT payer. All on one page, straight from the public registers.
How the company check works
- 1Enter the company ID or name
You'll find the company ID on an invoice, a contract, an order or in the footer of the company's website. Just paste it into the search.
- 2Firmometr checks the registers for you
We check ARES, the insolvency register (ISIR), the VAT payer registry and the commercial register at once, and verify the registered address against the RUIAN address register.
- 3Read the result
A traffic light sums up the risk at a glance: green means nothing found, amber is worth a closer look, red flags insolvency or an unreliable VAT payer.
Frequently asked questions
Is the company check really free?
Yes. Looking up a company by ID or name and seeing its data from ARES, the insolvency register, the VAT payer registry and the commercial register is free and needs no sign-up. You only need an account to monitor companies and to see the filed documents in detail.
Where does the data come from?
From the official public registers: ARES (Ministry of Finance), the ISIR insolvency register (Ministry of Justice), the VAT payer registry (Financial Administration), the commercial register and collection of documents (justice.cz) and the RUIAN address register (Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre).
What does the check tell me?
Name, company ID, VAT ID, legal form, registered address, founding date and status, statutory body, insolvency proceedings, VAT payer reliability including published bank accounts, and the number of documents in the collection of documents. A risk traffic light sums it all up.
How do I find out if a company is insolvent?
Enter the company ID. Firmometr searches the insolvency register and shows whether there are ongoing insolvency proceedings against the company, whether it went through them in the past, or whether there is no record. Each proceeding links to its case file in ISIR.
Can I keep an eye on a company over time?
Yes. After signing up you can add the company to your watchlist. The Company monitoring page explains how monitoring and email alerts on changes in the insolvency register, the VAT registry and ARES work.
